At The Lifestyle Center, we provide a comprehensive approach to aesthetics and wellness, and we believe that maintaining a healthy weight is an important foundation for living your best life. We also understand how challenging it can be to get there with diet and exercise alone.
A medical weight loss plan offers personalized, science-backed strategies that make weight loss not just possible, but sustainable. Our weight management program is physician-led by Dr. Moore and features semaglutide, an FDA-approved prescription medication that can help you achieve your body goals with a once-weekly injection.

Semaglutide is a powerful prescription medication that can help people lose significant amounts of weight when used in combination with diet and exercise. It works by mimicking a hormone called glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), which plays a role in regulating appetite and food intake.
By helping to regulate blood sugar levels, semaglutide can also help to reduce hunger and cravings, making it easier to stick to a healthy lifestyle and lose weight. Semaglutide is intended for adults with obesity or overweight (excess weight) who also have weight-related medical problems.
A medical weight loss program at The Lifestyle Center may be right for you if you are ready to better your health by making significant, permanent changes to your lifestyle. Your program will include the following:
It is a once-weekly injection. You may administer it at any time of day that is convenient for your schedule.
Weight loss is a gradual process. Many patients report noticeable results within four weeks of starting treatment, but full effects require several months or longer. In a 68-week clinical study with once-weekly semaglutide injections (at a dose of 2.4 mg), participants lost approximately 15% of their bodyweight.
Store your medication in the refrigerator when not in use. If you have plans to travel, it does not need to be packed on ice. You may pack it in your regular bag and return it to a refrigerator when you arrive at your destination.
Don’t stress, just get back on track. Semaglutide has a four-day window in which you can take your dose and remain within your dosing regimen. If you are five or more days past your dosing date, then you should skip the current week and resume the following week on your regular dosing day.
Semaglutide is a clinically-tested and FDA-approved medication. Nausea is the most common side effect, along with other gastrointestinal disturbances (e.g. vomiting, diarrhea). These effects tend to decrease over the initial weeks of being on the medication. Your provider will discuss less common side effects during your consultation.
Health is multi-faceted. While semaglutide can help you reach your goals, it should be combined with a healthy diet and regular exercise for the best results. Our Medical Gym Memberships can help you build and tone muscle, reduce fat and treat cellulite to enhance the results of your medical weight loss program.
It can be hard to figure out the healthiest choices for your body by yourself. A medically-supervised weight loss program at The Lifestyle Center provides treatment in a clinical setting that is supervised by a physician and tailored to your personal needs. Our goal is to help you set realistic goals and get the jumpstart you need to achieve them, then equip you with sustainable management strategies you can use for life.
